Usiloquy Dance Designs

Usiloquy Dance Designs is now accepting internship applications for one open, paid intern position, running from September 7, 2026 through November 7, 2026. This call is open until August 15, 2026, or until the position is filled. The applicant will be expected to work remotely on Usiloquy communications initiatives, including graphic design, social media, and photo and video editing, and archival work.

Applicant must be available to support five events in person in the Greater Philadelphia area during this time (see below for details).

Internship Details

$20/hour; 30 hours total; 50/50 remote vs. onsite (onsite hours include travel time)

Through this internship, you will learn the ins and outs of event facilitation, gaining hands-on experience with participant engagement and working with a vibrant and passionate community of creative professionals. You will enhance your social media and graphic design skills and have the chance to apply your artistic vision to Usiloquy’s social media presence. You will gain valuable experience in the nonprofit world–specifically with mission-driven communications strategy. You’ll also represent and uphold our local arts organization by staffing our lively, high-stakes performance events and making connections in Philadelphia’s vibrant art & culture scene.

Application Requirements

Applicants must be 18 or older. Applicants must be available to staff the following in-person, required events in Greater Philadelphia.

1. Saturday, September 19th from 10 AM to 3 PM.
2. Sunday, November 1st from 12pm to 3 PM.
3. 5 additional event hours; dates and times TBD.
