A Philadelphia premiere, “Memory Futures: Desi Transcendence” is an original interdisciplinary work with choreography by Shaily Dadiala and music by Rini (Harini) Raghavan. Shaily and Rini intertwine their respective training in Indian classical dance and music with Indian contemporary movement, jazz, and electronic music. Incorporating global influences, their iterations wind the audiences through traditional Indian Ragas, Bharatanatyam, and pop culture moments.
