Shaily Dadiala, President and Artistic Director
Sheila Coletta, Administrative Assistant
Sheila is a recent addition to the Usiloquy team as Administrative Assistant. After receiving her B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Moore College of Art and Design, she has worked as a creative professional in the design and marketing departments of major corporations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen. Sheila has extensive experience working as a graphic designer, art director and marketing coordinator. She is looking forward to using her design and marketing skills to support and implement the brand of Usiloquy Dance Designs and its mission to create cross-cultural dance collaborations.
Barb J. Baur, Treasurer
Barb serves as the Treasurer on Usiloquy’s board. She is in charge of all activities related to budgeting and financial planning. She also runs DAL Services, Inc along with her husband. In addition to her small business experience, Ms. Baur has been a jeweler/goldsmith for over 30 years and is currently completing a BFA at Temple University. When she is not running a business or making jewelry, Barbara is an artist, musician, published author, home-schooling mother, and spent six year as in-home caregiver for one of her best friends. Barbara has several years’ experience as a board member and committee chair with her previous church in Florida and underwent a Leadership Training by the Florida District UUA.
Originally from India, Mansi now resides in Philadelphia. She has varied interests. She is a former Usiloquy dancer and has been trained in Indian classical dance. She is an instructor at Mount Airy Leaning tree and teaches Bollywood. Along with dancing, she also dabbles in writing short stories and children’s books. She is an avid animal lover and animal rights activist. She is also an Occupational therapist and works with children with special needs.
Dr. Maureen Gibney
Dr. Gibney is an associate teaching professor in the Drexel University Department of Psychology, where among her other mentoring responsibilities she is faculty advisor for Drexel Dandiya, a competitive team focused on bringing Gujarati dance to a wider audience. In addition to her teaching, she presents trainings for professionals and staff working in social service and health settings in mental health and aging, and in ethical issues arising in elder care. She continues to fall in love with Indian dance and other forms of artistic expression.
Kristal is originally from Brooklyn, New York, but moved to Philadelphia five years ago to obtain a BM in Music History and Classical Voice from Temple University and a MS in Arts Administration from Drexel University. As part of her graduate career and in order to fuel her passion for travel and global engagement, she studied abroad at IAE Business School in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Aside from serving on the Board of Usiloquy, her professional profile includes being the Development Assistant & Group Sales Associate at Theatre Horizon, and a House Manager at the Philadelphia Film Society’s Prince Theater. She has worked as a Grants Specialist for Relâche, and as a Survey Assistant at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
